How are pads different from liners?

Both feature edge-to-edge leak protection and a super comfortable wicking cotton top layer, but our pads are built for heavy flow.

Do your pads contain PFAS?

No detectable levels of PFAS have been found in our pads, based on a detectable limit of one part per million.

How often do I need to change my pad?

At least once a day, or about as often as you would change a disposable pad. You’ll get the hang of it with experience.

How do I wash my pads?

Our pads were designed to fit into your regular laundry routine. No need to soak - just give them a quick rinse in cool water, then wash & dry with your next load of laundry. Hang to dry where possible - it saves energy & prolongs the life of your pads.

Where are your pads made?

Our pads have been cut and sewn at the same locally-owned and operated factory for over 25 years, right here in Vancouver, BC.

It's back to the 80s!!!

These are like the huge soggy pads I wore when I first got my period. Those pads were undyed cloth then and probably just as eco-friendly. These have nicer material, but I actually wanted to cry when I first wore this pad. I felt like a baby with a big, wet diaper. WHY????!!!! Why would I want to wear these? The pad moves constantly. The only plus is that they do hold a lot of fluid. Cannot wait for menopause. Maybe I'll have fewer companies profiting from my body.

It works as well as disposable

I think I bought into the hype here that this was going to change my life. They are very well made, the function perfectly, stay in place, but on my heavy days I still leak. Every time.

I HATE tampons and cups and discs just feel terrible or don't work properly for me (I have been using htem on and off for more than 25 years so this is not like a I am new to cups problem, they just don't work well with my anatomy) so I am resigned to just using pads. I always leak. I need A LOT of them to get through the heaviest day. It's a huge investment, but they work just as well as disposables ever did, so I am happy enough. I feel good about my choice to stop adding to the landfills every month.

Exceptional

I have a heavy flow and always find that I leak... not with regular pads but I'm always looking for ways to live more sustainably and economically. I tried Knix period undies and it was ok but then I would leak around the undie and it would get on my pants. They became totally unreliable and also weren't as comfortable as I would've hoped. These on the other hand are AMAZING. They're completely absorbent and way more comfy than period undies and regular pads or tampons. I finally feel like I can rely on a period product as a heavy-flower. I have the other sizes and love them too! HIGHLY recommend
